It's interesting...I was just speaking to my brother on Skype (I am in Australia, he is in Hastings in the UK) and he lives near the beach and they have had a lot of snow. I asked him what the beach looks like with snow, and your image pops up...'so THAT's what it looks like...!'

As far as the image is concerned, it's not a strong image for a Free Study...it's ok, but lacks the wow factor needed

Something about this seems off a little. I think it's soft, especially in the front center, and there appears to be some noise. I wouldn't give up on this concept as I think it has potential. Best of luck in the challenge.

while very pretty fruit, the composition lacks any meaning. I mean, its not telling us any story and maybe that's a lot to ask of a couple of raspberries, but I think without a background other objects in the still life, its rather..lifeless. :(
