Wow man! this shot is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, the lower part seems like a picture on a wall. I bet that this one would have give you a blue ribbon too. Waht a privilege to be at this location.

Thank you all for comments. The relation with the theme is not obvious and maybe this scored down, but I promise you that this is a new avenue in a new residential zone. Congrats to all the winners.

Thank you all for comments. I´m very happy with my first ribbon. I´m sorry because I don´t have a shot of my original set up, but I´m going to try to explain. It´s easy but I´m a bit perfectionist and it took me near three hours to achieve the final shot.
First of all I printed a sheet with the title of the challenge. this was done using Powerpoint (for example) and then printed reversed (with the aid of a postscript printer driver)
Text
This printed text was folded and glued carefully to achieve a perfect transition in the words
Cylinder
Still we have a problem beacuse if we take a photo with this setup and look at the center of the balls we can see the body of the rebel
close-up
These are the kind of details that scores down our shots in this site. to fix this we can use this close-up to create a mask for our lens and put it at the top of the cylinder

With this trick we can hide our camera "completely".
This is a shot without backlighting

And this is the final shot with backlighting (the setup over a glass table) and without processing.
