Bit sinister! But I like it, maybe with a tad more contrast though to bring out the details.

Nice bit of pathos. Could be recentered to give us a piece of the road.

Light is quite harsh and the whole image feels rather over sharpened.

Nice idea however I think the angle of the shot and the harsh lighting hurt this a bit.

Greetings from the Critique Club

Welcome to DPC! It is amazing how much you can learn here. People will give you feedback both good an bad which really helps as you go along.

Very interesting subject you chose for Spitting Fire. I like that you chose something different as well as something that is going to have more dramatic lighting. the placement of the subject is good, it draws the eye right into the center. I see that you commented about the red in the image. Once a voting starts you are not able to change the image so its best that you didn't I would hate for you to DQ on your first entry. I would try taking this shot again sometime to see if you can get the red not to give off such a harsh effect, you might even have to try to shot at different times of the day to play with the natural lighting available. You might even try a couple different angles to see what happens.

Best of luck on your next challenge!

I'm not sure about the red ending... looks unreal and like it does not belong in this photo.

the color seems off to me and the focus seems a little soft
