Lovely shot here, Kim! Great soft background. You don't mention the lens or aperture, though I suspect that a smaller aperture would have given a crisper detail picture, which would have made this a very good contender for being an award-winning type of shot

Thanks for the idea of using Nikon lenses on a Canon camera - I had no idea you could do this, but I understand that the standard lenses sold on the Nikons are a lot better than the standards sold with the Canons. I must see if I can get to use this bit of info to improve my shots. What type of Nikon lenses will match to the 350d?

I wish the image was sharper as well. I can't seem to make myself understand that f2.8 is NOT the fstop I should try to master at this point in the game! I just do NOT have the experience!
