I wish I had seen this early enough to have voted on it!! This would have gotten my "10". I love this style of photography. I love how everything seems just a 'little' out of whack while obviously being true! The thing I adore about black and white photography is that it is so much more expressive than color. This is a glorious shot!! I am most envious!!

OUTSTANDING!!!!! Not only does it capture Mr. Rockwell's look... it definitely captures the spirit and the wit he showed in all of his works. Great job!!! This one deserves a 20, not a measly 10!!

I like this. Very Ansel Adams-ish. I like the way the fog (?) seems to be coming down equally in the passes.

Very nice work! I love B?W beyond all else... and this is a reason why!

Thanks for the memory boost!

I really like the setup on this shot. The closeness and the perfect focus give it an air of intelligence and class. Great shot!!!

I think a portrait setup here would have set this up nicer, at least to me. And maybe a tighter crop. Seems a little out of focus but since I haven't calibrated nor recalibrate my monitor, nor had my eyeglasses upgraded for a long time, I might be wrong about that. Nice looking dog!

Normally this type of photo would not be my cup of tea... it is quite blown out and I normally don't understand why someone would do that intentionally. But this time, it adds a depth of the sneaky slyness of the Siamese... it works for me. I would have liked the ears to be a little more in focus, but overall, this is a captivating photo! Good job!!!

This is exquisite! What could simply have been a very nice photograph was made into a stunning portrait by the softness and structured lighting (intentional or UNintentional). The cropping is perfect! The angle is right on the money. The dark background makes everything come together with a definite touch of class. Although Rembrandt comes to mind, I am not sure exactly which artist is known for the overall effect you have created here, but it doesn't matter. This is utter perfection!

I hope that if this is your daughter that you intend to blow this up to as large as you can, frame it in a very expensive heavy wooden frame and place it in a postion of prominence in your home. You have achehieved greatness!! (10) (I would give it 2-10s if that were possible!!!

What an excellent job!!!

I think this would have been better yet had the shadows been less intense! 5
