This was a family member at a nursing home.Grain was in part to conceal identity but also I felt it showed her soul departing her body and entering heaven. This was a tough emotional shoot for me but she understands my love for photography, people, emotions and did nothing but encourage this picture.Looking closely you see the nasal canula (oxygen tube)She has since departed here but smiles down on my improvement on this website and the challenge results.I remember her chuckling at my first attempt light on white. thanx for comment and vote I can relate GOD bless you

ONE OF THE BEST IN THE BUNCH...

I AM TAKING CARE OF A TERMINALLY ILL PERSON WHO HAS ABOUT LESS THAN 6 MONTHS TO LIVE BUT I DID NOT HAVE THE HEART TO PHOTOGRAPH HIM. HE FIGHTS WITH HIS EVERY BREATH TO LIVE. IT’S BEEN SO LONG SINCE I HAVE PICKED UP MY CAMERA. YOUR PICTURE LOOKS LIKE “MY LIFE” FOR THE LAST 7 MONTHS, I AM THE CAREGIVER AND I SEE THIS IMAGE EVERY DAY/NIGHT.

VERY MOVING PICTURE! 10
