catsby mitalapoComment: Two beautiful little faces. The cat is a bit upstaged, but she'll get over it. Nice candid. |

Frenetic Blues Manby markwileyComment: Hi Mark, lovely shot with a nice mix of blur & sharp detail. BW is the perfect choice for this. The subject is interesting. Love the tip-pig. Good work. |

Framedby GeorgesBogaertComment: How are you today, Georges?! Good news that you are out & about on your crutches, pushing the limits. I was your 10. I am enchanted with the super-bright light & the implication of rain turning the street into a mirror. There are so many interesting ways to use 33 seconds--you picked a great one. Thanks! |

Desert symphonyby ELLIPSComment: Hey Michael, congratulations on the Yellow for this beautiful landscape. The sand is turned to a gold masterpiece sculpted by the wind. I think I might know why you're getting comments about a wider crop--the slanting lines on the right are strong leading lines, leading to nowhere. We read from left to right, so those lines are leading downward, to the edge of the frame. It's a slightly uncomfortable experience. I wonder what would happen if it was flipped. Then the lines would be leading upward, into the picture, creating a more comfortable viewing experience. Only a suggestion, Michael. It's beautiful as is. |
