I'd like to thank everyone who has voted and commented on my entry. This was the first time I've entered a challenge and am very pleased and gratified to have done so well. The competition was stiff and congratulations to all the worthy ribbon winners. Someone remarked on the "strange" colour of the blanket the dogs are lying on - it was originally a lemon sheet, which I "burned" to darken - a mistake with hindsight. I've taken much better images of the pair since then, pity I didn't have them in time for the challenge. Finishing so well has now made me determined to get myself a ribbon - but how do I interpret "Brown"? Thanks again everyone.
