The claustrophobia and restlessness of imprisonment are portrayed in gut-wrenching, visceral fashion. The ghostly man has his face covered, which adds to the sense of uneasiness. The window leaning against the wall is like a useless, unreal door. The stark environment is perfect. I'm unsure about the clock. Without it, which imho would improve the photo, I would think that the noise was in his mind, but something is surely to be gained by amplifying the passage of time. Perhaps if the clock were as translucent as the figures that sense of it being so flagrantly real could be mitigated. Just a thought. Personal favorite of the challenge.
