Jill in the Greenby suebenlouComment: Aside from fitting the photo in the challenge, I don't really see the point of desat here. It's a lovely leaf, to be sure, but I would think it would stand out just as well even without desaturating the background. |

Saturdayby RetroesqueComment: Lovely perspective, and wonderful colors that really 'pop' out and grab you. Gorgeous clouds. |

Quiet in the Cityby kolasiComment: I thought at first that I didn't care for this, and that the title made little sense. However, the longer I looked, the more it made sense, and the better I liked it. The little pocket of peace under the trees doesn't reach out and 'wow', but it certainly makes the picture. The only nit-picky thing I can say is that the horizon seems very slightly off (a degree, maybe two) in the verticality of the buildings. 8. |

Candy Lipsby glodaComment: Lovely image. Beautiful pose, wonderful, perfect expression, natural looking eyes, and the happy surprise of the candy lips! Not overdone at all, as it so easily could have been. |

Togetherby marvinComment: Beautiful treatment of an all-too-common pest, um, weed, um, that is, ... flower. :) Lovely texture to the petals and very realistic color. This would have been all-too-easy to oversaturate. Good job. |

Fancy weddingby imagine74Comment: I think perhaps a different angle would have worked much better. I had to really look before I quite figured out what this is - the angle given makes everything blend together in the busy-ness of bows, fender, mirrors, lights, and handles. |

Cherry earringsby pacpintoComment: The cherries are beautiful, but I wonder about the choice of location on the body... seems a bit strange to me to place them at the ear (and to hold the ear in such an unnatural way) when there are much more interesting places for cherries... :) |

Lunch Optionsby BAMartinComment: Love the title, and the pose/composition is excellent. The fish seems a little grainy (compared to the rest of the pic) and oversaturated, but otherwise an excellent shot. |

Beat The Heat!by sudhiComment: Not to be rude, but this is a so-so picture. The angle isn't very flattering, the light is very harsh, the divided background is pretty distracting, and you've got some pretty serious halos around your subject. That being said, I applaud the choice of items to desaturate - between the color and the title, you've brought attention not only to your concept, but to the idea behind the concept. (That is to say, it isn't a meaningless desaturation, or desat for the sake of desat.) This shows me that you've put some thought into the shot, you just might want to work on the execution a bit. :) |

Milliesby irisheyesComment: I have to assume that the title is referring to the building in front of which the bikes are parked, but I don't get the point of the pic as it relates to the title, and I'm not seeing the connection to the items that are still in color. |
