Glowingby kevinswopeComment: Haunting image, wonderful tonalities. Seems to be a jaggy selection along the upper left part of the pepper... |

lumière de soiréeby Ecce_SignumComment: Afternoon light, indeed. Striking image, made less striking by the murky treatment of the sky/landscape separation and an overalls ense of blocky softness. The massive black frame is not helping at all IMO, either. |

Monsoon Over Missionby f-32Comment: Wonderful picture, losing imapct because the dark tones aren't fully expressed. In other words, it ;lacks contrast in the middle range, and this makes the pure, detailed white of the glowing dome appear out of range, even though it's actually not. |

Autumnby KoriyamaComment: It's odd. The water's wonderful, the right side and distant areas are terrific, but the left side foliage is flat and lackluster. It's SO close... |

This is going to be close........duck! ! !by SailingduckComment: Oh, HOW I wish attention had been paid in post-processing to a richer expression of tonal values in this image. The whole is about a half stop too light, and the foreground even more washed out, perhaps a full stop. Also, it's leaning half a degree to the right, and that disturbs slightly. Wonderful capture! |
