Reflectionsby ThingFishComment: Cliche perhaps, but this would have matched the challenge much better if you actually flipped it. The ripples are negligent yet present enough to let the viewer see the 'upside down'. Still, the bottom half of the image IS upside down, so big props. 9. |

Yes, it is gold indeed. Golden temple in Kyoto. The upper 2 stories are gold-plated, the bottom one is bamboo or some such thing. Something about Shoguns not liking the Emperor that lived on the 1st floor ;)

The Birdsby chaliceComment: nice landscape shot, nice colors, pleasing composition, but- not really conveying the same spot to me. Yes, there are plenty a bird in there, but not something that you would absolutely have to re-shoot to get this way. Or so I think. |
