I'm voting a 5 because of the distracting elements in the image (Chara and the other goalie's stick blade). You do have Rask in focus so that's a bonus.

I like that you were able to take the viewer right into the action. Technically, it's very good -- the light (which I suspect was challenging), the focus, etc. Why just a five? I don't feel like I'm seeing a real moment of activity here. Feels like a moment between moments. Also, the player in focus is blocked by Chara there. And there's a clipped stick off to the right. Maybe I just don't watch enough hockey...

Grog visit friend Ugggg who live with big tribe of Bahston. Ugggg takes Grog to holy place for great ceremony called "Hok-Hee". Is great and wonderful ceremony. Chosen ones run to center of holy place and shake staff of blessings at amulet on floor. Great is the rejoicing of followers who watch. Much drink is consumed in celebration. Bountiful hunt is assured.

Why a 5 not a 6: The player at the bottom is distraction and interferes with the subject. In sport photography the higher scoring shots for me have action in it. If this shot even with the player at the bottom had a the puck in flight and the player attempting to catch/block or some kind of movement I'd scored it higher. The technical aspects as far a color/sharpness/composition is fine. (the stick in the top right could had been cloned out, my eye wonders over that way)....ace
