	The Soul of the Game by CVTJan Comment by Mary Ann Melton: I scored this well because it is a great use of shallow depth of field. However, I find myself wishing that the front piece was the sharp one and the rest faded into the blur.

	The Soul of the Game by CVTJan Comment by drueov: outstanding composition, lighting, and desaturation! Only one criticism: the focus looks like it was about an inch short, judging from the in-focus area on the board. The object pawn should have been a little crisper. Wonderful image! 8
