Too Person Portraitby timfythetooComment: Very nicely done. I really like the diagonal composition and the offbeat crop. My only CC is that the child on the left's eye-whites seem overly white as if they were worked over in PP and I miss the natural shadow there. (I may be wrong, but it's the thing in this photo that keeps stealing my attention.) 8, just-married |

Sisters by trainComment: Lovely interaction. The focus seems a touch soft on their faces (looks like it fell on the hair.) Beautiful girls. :) |

As Life Passesby ArtysteComment: Glen - Congrats on your first blue. I feel like we're watching Megan grow up here on DPC; she's getting so big. Fabulous shot of her. |

Jaalaby BobsterLobsterComment: Nicely composed and lit, but somehow something just doesn't pop for me. Perhaps if she'd oiled her skin, she'd have more of a sheen that would make this work better as a fashion/modelling type piece. |

Lighting Linesby sigrun_thComment: This shot stands above so many shots of this nature. First, the strong straight diagonals against the round pillars is such a feast of line and form. Then the reflection in the muck simultaneously continues the line and solidity of the pillars while inverting the pattern the blinds created.
That alone is enough to create a great image, but you go one further by capturing the scene in the golden hour, really capturing the essence and beauty of the light as it must have been while viewed live. This is something we all struggle to do: capture the quality of the light and not just it's brightness.
Then we have the clean form and color of the stone pillars contrasted against the mucky gritty puddle on the floor.
You have outdone yourself here. Truly, could this image be any better?

The big raceby eirasiComment: Bump from 9 to 10.
I really like the movement you've caught here, yet managing to keep the ram's face sharp. The green and yellow palette is just beautiful. |

Vibrantby jenesisComment: I like the way the paint splashes on the wood behind her are so similar to the color of her hair. The saturation is pushed past my normal preference, but I really like it for this image. 9, good luck. |
