Wow! You really got this one right on. The lighting, catch light, sharpness, DOF, cropping, and post-processing are all just right for this image. - 10

Good job on metering this one. It is hard to have good contrast, not loose all shadow detail, and keep the highlights from blowing out. Is this prom night or just attitude?

Very nice indeed. You have captured the content of the the vials without loosing the definition of the glass. Kind of a funky background pattern, but it fits well.

Great scene! The exposure appears to be good and the subjects are engaging. Nice fairly nuetral color, which seems fitting to me. I think that this would be a killer image if it had a shallow DOF so as to blur the cluttered background and furthar isolate the subject. Also, a large reflector just left of or perhaps over the camera, might have helped fill the faces of the boys on the right and reduce the shadows.

I find it difficult to judge such a small image.

Is the odd color balance intentional?

The hard lighting (caused from a small light source) has created some unpleasant glare. Overall the image seems a bit soft, I suppose this could be camera shake. If this exposure was longer than 1/100 sec, did you use a tripod and trigger with a remote or timed delay to eliminate camera movement?

Some things never change. This reminds me of my a picture I have in a box from a very long time ago, the classic school photo.

Good capture and nice composition. The highlights do look a bit blown out to me (something we didn't have to worry about as much with B&W film). I like the contrast and tone as they lend to a sense of antiquity.
