Good subject matter and colors, but I dislike the ugly gray background platform.

I hope you got a chance to visit it at "High Tide" as that’s when it's at its best. One of my favorite places to take friends that come to visit me. It's one of the most scenic places in the city. The ships coming and going the people at the Marina flying kites and the joggers... the City Lights at night can be awesome too! The list goes on... I have heard that San Francisco is at or very near the top of the list as the most photographed city in the world.

I've lived in San Francisco for months at a time but never knew about this thing. Thanks for posting this!

Some great subjects with a lot of potential, but I feel this shot is rather plain. Standing them next to each other and shooting from the fron, perhaps from a low perspective, might lend the subjects a lot more visual impact.

As this appears to be a set up composition, you could have improved it by arranging the bikes more symmetrically around the expansion joint and facing the sides perpendicular to your line of view instead of perpendicular to the fence. Additionally, the image could benefit from color and lighting corrections.

This shot really has all it takes for a perfect shot your settings are near perfect, I would have maybe waited momentarily until the clouds moved slightly for a slightly brighter moon and possibly then cropped it a little tighter so that the moon was maybe a little larger and taking some of the blank black portion out. then possibly allowing the moon to be closer to the "rule of thirds"( not that that is always the answer) but may have worked a little better here. I know that often when we crop tighter /closer to the subject our images seem to get "noisier" however, a little more noise may have been tolerable in order to get the impact of a larger moon! Good Luck here!
