The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC it’s a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. A special attention should be aimed to those working hard with different views and approaches to photography, those not aligned with the mainstream taste and receiving no recognition. Simple and understated. I'm not sure the long frame was necessary. I do like the A shape in the clouds -- offers some relief from the horizontal bands.

It's getting up my nose!
Very little bokeh to speak of but perhaps enough. Subjective.
Deep rich colour but I would prefer a bit more DOF on the surrounding petals.

I like how you filled most of the photo with the flower, but my eyes are searching for something to latch onto. I cannot seem to find that one sharp point.
