No phone, No pool, No petsby photomankcComment: I'm torn over images like this. It's a beautiful shot, but for this theme it doesn't work for me. Here's my reasoning... simply put, poverty is a human condition. This house speaks to me of abandonment. |

Cold and lonelyby ti_evomComment: I really like this shot... the train tracks are such a strong metaphor (progress, commerce, "the other side of the tracks"). They balance the image well and provide a nice thematic contrast. I'd be curious to see what else could be done with this shot under looser editing rules. Good job. |
