Love the action of feeding and it looks like you shot lower than standing. Maybe they were on a crest of a hill. Either way, the background just falls away. Boken looks nice too!

I just find the bird too dark. Probably due to backlighting.
For next time, a flash or reflector, could make the difference.
By filling in the scene with light, it will balance the subject and background brightness.
Also showing that beautiful feather detail and colour.
None available in this instant? Over expose the shot. Shoot for the birds brightness level, not the background. It may create a white background, but for me his detail is what's important.

Along with excellent technique, the bird gave the perfect pose and background spacing. Even though very brief and erratic, you nailed it. I love a good challenge like this.
