Very engaging. I feel like he really wants, actually needs my help. Perhaps I'm his coach, etc....
Nice shot though, truly engaging. Great colour, sharpness, timing, boken, depth of field and comp. Being picky, I would like to see a more level horizon. Being picky...

Overall an Excellent image!

The more I look at it, the more it bothers me. He just looks so photoshopped, into position.
If not the case, a more realistic shot may have been better. Although it has nice colour, comp, exposure and sharpness.
So to be fair, I may skip voting on this one.

Very good use of shutter speed and panning. Love how the face, is in the sharpest focus.
Background goes well, with the pan tequiniqe.
Nice...

I'm glad you stumbled upon this great find. Just the other day, I was thinking about this kind of shot.
knowing it is only a matter of time. So cool to see, you beat me to it! It must have been exciting.

Very glad you did so well Harvey! Such an interesting mix of whites and browns on him. I'm so used to green heron, its cool to see such different colours and tones. Plus a nice shot to boot!

When shooting gulls, you really have to watch the exposure. Judging by the shot, your metering system exposed for the background. Leading to blown out highlights, on the extremely white bird. Check your histogram/photo review often. If you like more tips, don't be shy. I'm a big bird shooter.

This would be great to see blown up huge! I really like the comp. Leading lines are fantastic! I'm usually not one for thin crops, but this so works.
Excellent job!

I personally would have not included the cars. But I do like the image.
Has a very surreal look to it.
