C2K -- DPC's 2,000th Challenge

Description
In honor of DPC's 2000th challenge, mine your archives for a never-before-submitted image or create something new to lead the way into our third millennium!

Note the allowed exposure dates and the 2 week submission deadline.
Disqualification Message: You must retain your original, unedited file (exactly as recorded by your camera), and provide it to the Site Council along with a list of your editing steps within 48 hours of any validation request. Files that have been saved or altered with any editing or transfer software are NOT originals.
Disqualification Message: You may not use ANY editing tool to create new image area, objects or features (such as lens flare or motion) that didn't already exist in your original capture. In this case, the rendering of moon-within-a-halo is just too far from reality to be acceptable, and it's exacerbated by the very potato-like mask applied to the moon, which should be much more perfectly spherical.
